Meet Our Team
Reagan Barnes
Reagan has taught preschool for over 12 years. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Finance and a Minor in Communications. What she enjoys most about working with children is using her creativity to inspire them to produce incredible art using various mediums. This passion motivated her to co-found Creative Kids ColLab with Hillary and Teresa. She believes by combining their different strengths, they developed a program that is highly beneficial to preschool-aged children and beyond.
Outside of teaching, Reagan resides in Falls Church with her husband, two children, and dog Willie. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, attending her children's sporting events, shopping, getting together with friends, walking her dog, and trying new restaurants.
Teresa Gido
Teresa has taught preschool for 14 years working with children ages 2.5 – 5 and currently teaches at the Falls Church Episcopal Day School. Prior to teaching, Teresa was a change management consultant and then a stay-at-home mom. During this time, she realized her true passion is working with children, thus prompting her career change. Teresa earned an Early Childhood Development Certificate from Northern Virginia Community College. Teresa has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and an MBA from George Mason University. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband, daughter, and Golden Retriever, Lucie.
Hillary Ellis
Hillary Ellis is a professional dancer and has taught dance for over 20 years. She is the owner of Hillary’s Dance Company located in Falls Church. She leads the performing arts component of our program. She earned a B.F.A. in Dance from George Mason University. She is a former preschool director and a current preschool teacher. She is passionate about the performing arts and whole-heartedly committed to being an exemplary role model and teacher at Creative Kids ColLab.
