The Creative Kids ColLAB program, led by three preschool teachers, integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) with the performing arts. Designed for children ages 3½ – 7, each of our classes features an art project incorporating STEAM components introduced in an age-appropriate manner. Our objective is to capitalize on children’s innate curiosity about the world, build confidence and independence, use critical thinking, and encourage cooperative play and communication. We believe children learn best through hands-on, interactive activities. We focus on process over product by encouraging children to use their own unique, artistic ability in all their work.

The second part of the Creative Kids ColLAB program expands on the day's STEAM theme through music and movement activities. This portion allows children to enhance gross motor skills and express themselves through choreographed sequences, as well as interactive collaborative games. Our focus is to build physical coordination, body awareness, and personal expression.
